Nicole Nielsen & Company for Dent, London half quarter repeating lever pocket watch, 19 jewels, stem wind and pin set employing Nicoles keyless work, gilt plate movement with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with gold timing screws in an 18 karat, yellow gold, snap back and bezel, open face case, the back with "MSC" cipher, and case makers stamp "C.N. E.N.", Roman numeral, single sunk, white enamel dial with seconds at 8:00, blued steel spade and whip hands, serial #28876, 47mm, 106.6g TW.
CONDITION:
CASE: Minor dings; Fine scratches on outer surface of case; Fine scratches on inner surface of case or cuvette; Back will rotate when in place, snap a bit loose; Edge of bezel with case knife marks; Crystal with minor scratches; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Hairline in enamel, light, center to seconds bit, otherwise very good. HANDS: Replaced minute. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches on plate; Keyless work with a few specks of oxide. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks). COMPLICATION FUNCTION: Functions properly. Gongs with good tone.
